Storygate.ai — Terms & Privacy
Last updated and effective: 20 September 2026.
Storygate.ai provides AI tools for creating stories, episodes and videos. Contact us at [email protected].
Using Storygate.ai
You must be at least 18 and authorised to use any organisation's account you represent. By accepting these terms when signing up, you agree to use Storygate.ai lawfully, protect your login and provide accurate account information. Do not abuse free offers, bypass payment or safety controls, interfere with the service or access another person's data.
You must have permission to use the content, faces, voices and other references you submit. Do not create unlawful content, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexually explicit material, deceptive impersonation, fraud, threats or content that infringes others' rights.
Your content and AI results
You retain your rights in uploaded content. As between you and Storygate.ai, you own generated outputs to the extent ownership is recognised by law and subject to third-party rights and applicable model licences. Personal and commercial use must respect those restrictions. We do not guarantee exclusive outputs, copyright protection or clearance of third-party rights.
You allow us and our service providers to process, store and transmit your content to operate Storygate.ai, deliver your requested features, provide support and maintain security. We will ask separately before featuring your work in our marketing.
AI can produce inaccurate, inconsistent or unexpected results, including character, voice, dialogue, music and subtitle errors. Review your work before publishing. We do not guarantee a particular creative result, platform acceptance or monetisation. Keep your own copies of important exports.
Payments, credits and refunds
Prices, limits and credit requirements are shown in the app and at checkout. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled through Billing. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access continues for the paid period. Monthly credits expire at the end of their billing period. Separately purchased credit packs currently have no scheduled expiry and require an active subscription to purchase.
The free offer covers an outline and one revision, not a completed video. Paid generation and additional attempts consume credits. Failed jobs may release or return eligible credits under the app's credit rules; this is separate from a cash refund.
Purchases are non-refundable for change of mind, unused credits or dissatisfaction with a correctly delivered AI result. Generation incurs third-party processing costs. This policy does not exclude refunds, cancellation or other remedies required by law, including applicable consumer guarantees or withdrawal rights. Contact support about failed service, missing credits or incorrect charges.
Availability and changes
We may restrict accounts where reasonably necessary for abuse, non-payment, security or legal compliance. Contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken. We may change models and features, and will give reasonable advance notice of material changes to terms, prices or paid entitlements. Price changes apply to future renewals after notice. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Privacy
We collect account and sign-in details; your prompts, uploads, projects and generated media; billing and credit records; support messages; and technical and usage information. We use these to deliver and secure the service, process payments, communicate with you, resolve issues and understand product use and traffic sources. Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor; Storygate.ai does not store full card numbers or card security codes.
We use third-party services for hosting, storage, security, authentication, AI processing, payments, email and analytics. We share relevant information, including prompts and media where needed, to deliver those functions. Their data-use and retention practices vary; we do not guarantee that every service excludes model training or retains no data. We may also disclose information where legally required, to protect rights and security, or in a business transfer.
We use essential cookies and browser storage for sign-in and preferences. Optional analytics starts only after you choose “Accept analytics”; choose “Essential only” to decline, or use “Privacy choices” to change your decision. Your preference is stored for up to six months. Accepted analytics includes traffic-source attribution for up to 90 days and excludes session recordings and project content. Detected Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals keep optional browser analytics off. For signed-in users, declining also stops optional server-event delivery to our analytics service; necessary account, billing and security records remain. You can also restrict cookies in your browser, which may affect sign-in. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
We and our service providers may process and store information outside your country. We retain information as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes; backups and provider records may persist beyond a deletion request. We use reasonable security measures, but no system is completely secure.
Email [email protected] to request access, correction, export, deletion or account closure, or to raise a privacy complaint. We may verify your identity and retain records where legally necessary. Depending on applicable law, you may also object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent or complain to a privacy regulator. Where required, we rely on contract, legal obligations, legitimate interests or consent as appropriate; these terms do not replace separately required consent.
We will update this page and provide notice of material changes. For questions about any part of these terms or privacy practices, contact support.
